Fauna remained grinning as the male got in her face. Her tail wagged slightly in anticipation. She would've loved to rip out his throat right then; it had been so long since she had killed another dog she couldn't even remember the adrenilin, though she held back from it and listened to him. He talked tough, though she was sure that if he was exiled from his little puppy gang he called a pack, she was sure he wouldn't have survived this long.
She narrowed her eyes, her grin morphing into an untrusting frown as she puzzled over how to reply. Her cerulean gaze shot over to the other dog as it arrived and positioned himself next to Samuel. He wasn't the biggest dog she had ever seen; she dwarfed him by a few inches herself. She and the fleabag she was arguing with at the moment were the biggest dogs she seen around the city these days, and the only one bigger she had seen was that other mutt that she had seen in the cemetary. She had forgotten his name, surprisingly, but if she was a horse, he was a mammoth.
She returned her skeptical eyes back to the wolfdog infront of her. She held her head high still, but took a small step back to allow herself room to talk. She sat down, staring the male straight in the eyes, intending it to be almost an insult, though she was pretty sure it didn't show that way. 'Damn right I'm above that,' she thought, smart enough not to say it out loud. He was on the verge of lunging at her throat already, and she figured that she wouldn't make it happen. "What the hell do you have to offer to a bitch like me?" she growled, aware that she just directly insult herself. Her mind screamed at her not to trust him, but she figured that she may as well hear him out and see if it appealed to her, even if he was a total jerk.
((Yay, muse. ))

Tarkah He was silent as more insults were thrown about, including one directed at him. The male he was sitting next to seemed to be waiting for him to do something. He had not yet met Samuel, but the poor thing seemed overly-abused. He flicked his ears and a sideways smile spread across his muzzle. "Tarkah," He introduced himself in a soft, quiet voice. He was genuinely sorry for Samuel's position, but doing something about it would get him killed. ”You say that like three dogs ain’t enough to kill you.” ”With or without a pack, I could tear your throat out. I could enslave you, I could make you pray for death, lovely, and you look like you’re above that.” ”So how about an offer instead?” “And who the fuck is this?” Tarkah was about to respond to his superior, but he was recognized before he could speak. ”’Ello soldier. I’m glad to see you could make it, and with such impeccable timing. I was just explaining to this guest here our pack.”Tarkah nodded to Theyr'Wolfe, dipping his head slightly. "Yes, sir." He cast a measuring glance at Fauna, attempting to see her reaction to his formality at Theyr'Wolfe. "What the hell do you have to offer to a bitch like me?" The cocky female seemed to be submitting to a certain level. Not rock-bottom, but to the point of having the sense to hold her tongue of more . "Might I be of any assistance?" Tarkah offered Theyr'Wolfe, whose attention seemed to again be captured by Fauna. ooc:// Sorry Theyr'Wolfe, I'm used to the places where it's RPed out how you obtain your rank. And crap! Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I checked every day but didn't see Fauna's post! faceplants into desk
