Rank Descriptions
The Ace of Hearts: The highest card within the deck of the Gilded Hearts, the leader of the pack. If this card were missing from the deck, no games could be played, and the deck would be useless. The Ace Of Hearts should be held in the highest respects by all of the pack members, and never disobeyed. Most seem to honestly forget, the Ace doesn't need any higher up approval to punish or exile anyone he sees fit.[/size]
The King Of Hearts: The King Of Hearts is the second highest ranking card within the deck, and is second-in-command, having the highest power below the Ace Of Hearts. The King is mainly a speaker for the Ace when he is unable to do so, and is usually the mate of the ace, and the most trusted adviser. On top of that, the King is the main protector of the Ace. If the King betrays the pack, he can expect the highest forms of punishment possible.
Nine Of Clubs: The Nine's of Clubs are the judge and jury of the pack, being the Ace's second highest ranking advisers. They hear all cases against those accused of breaking the pack rules, and give their opinions to the Ace. The Nines Of Clubs share a uniform card because of how close they usually are. The Nines are suppose to be the least biased dogs of the entire pack. Any traitorous activities or purposely misjudged trials will earn then expulsion from the pack.
The Kings Of Spades: The Spades are the lead assassins and spies of the pack, only answering directly to the Ace. The Spades are in charge of gathering information on other packs, and executing anyone that could cause extreme harm to the Gilded Hearts. The Spades are also in charge of rooting out spies from within the pack itself, making their job an important one. They usually are the faster dogs in the pack, and any form of traitorous activity will land the Spades out of the pack.
The High Jacks: The High Jacks are the main defenders of the Ace. The High Jacks must be extremely skilled fighters, and be trusted by all high-ranking members of the pack to be accepted. The High Jacks are the officers of the military, and deal with most of the packs military duties. Though there is usually one, there can be up to four High Jacks. They oversee all combat training of the Drawn Cards, and are expected to make them into skilled fighters.
The Spades: The Spades are the spies and assassins that work under the Kings of Spades. They are generally the fastest, and wittiest dogs within the pack. It is hard to become a Spade, as your skills must be excellent. Although they are in the military ranks, they are respected by almost all members of the pack. They, along with the Kings of Spades gather information on other packs, and dispose of those who would harm the deck.
The Jokers: The Jokers are the front line soldiers of the pack, as the Jokers can either be an extremely useless or useful card in a deck. These fighters are normally the main asset in any battle to be had, as they are in charge of disrupting the front line of the opposing pack by any means needed and clear the way for the Bloodied Clubs. To be a Joker, you must be either extraordinarily fast or have a thick hide, as the Jokers take more of a beating than any other fighters. They take their orders from the The Dealers and High Jacks. They are mainly a force of defense in battle, they do not usually engage in the heaviest parts of batter, leaving that to the Bloodied Clubs.
The Bloodied Clubs: The battle force of the pack. These are the warriors, the fighters, the ones who defend the pack in their greatest times of need. They work under the command of the Card Holders and High Jacks, and alongside the Spades during battle. When not fighting, Clubs are to do whatever they so choose. They rush into battle after the main assault from the Jokers, being the best fighters in the pack, but still weaker than the High Jacks.
The Lowly Twos: Despite the condescending name, the lowly twos are not that looked down upon. The name they’ve been given is simply a pack-given nickname due to the fact that they are the less experienced fighters. Most likely, they are found surrounded by Clubs in battle to take the focus off of them until they gain the experience to advance to Clubs themselves. However, they are still expected to do their job, and if it’s found that they are leaving the work to clubs, they will be punished. They work under the command of the Card Holders, Spades, and under the influence of the Clubs.
The Sixes of Hearts: The caretakers for the expectant mothers and pups of pack. The Sixes takes orders only from the Dealers, and are expected to know how to handle most of the duties given. Often an older member of the pack, or rarely a young but wise member. If any harm is to come to the pups – the future – the Sixes are to be punished directly by the Ace without influence of the Nine of Diamonds.
The Queens: The expectant mothers of the pack. They are to be cared for by the Six of Hearts until their pups arrive, and are under no order to participate in any action aside from optionally guarding the casino entrances. Once the pups are born, the mother is given a week’s time to care for them, but must return to her previous post after this time. Failure to comply will result in punishment.
The Drawn Cards: Newborns, puppies; the future of the pack. They are to be cared for by the Six(es) of Hearts until their skills can be analyzed and they can be appropriately placed into the pack.
The Discard Pile: Slaves, simply put. Any members who break laws to a vicious extent or other dogs caught as prisoners by any member. Previous members of the tribe may possibly redeem themselves. If brought into the tribe through this rank, don’t expect much better. Disobeying of ANY pack member will result in punishment.
The Rules of the GameI. All members are expected to obey the Ace, any member who dares to disparge from his orders will be expelled or put into the Discard Pile.
II. Disobeying any higher suits within the deck(pack) will land you under review for expulsion or being put in the Discard Pile.
III. All pack members are expected to keep themselves out of trouble, and to actually think before they act. Failure to do so will land you under the eyes of the Nines.
IV. The pack works like a deck of cards, all the cards need to work together. If you are a card that is not contributing to the deck, you will be forced to leave.
V. Any members of the pack besides the Kings of Spades and the Spades found speaking to or dealing with members of another pack will immediately be expelled from the pack... Or worse.
