Name: Charlye Alias: N/A Gender: Female. Age: Four years Birthdate: 2127 Species: Dog. Breed: Great Dane (70%), German Shepherd (30%) Purebred: No. Pack: Loner. Height: 68 CM Weight: 90 LBS
Build: Charlye is tall with a light build, like that of a Great Dane. She is very thin and slender (maybe even a bit lanky depending on nutritition). She is neither incredibly weak nor incredibly strong. Her tail is skinny and a bit curved into a weird c-like shape. Coat: She is mainly fawn-coloured. Her muzzle and ears are black, and her belly is a light cream colour, her back a darker shade of fawn. Her toes are the same cream colour as her belly. This colour also covers her cheeks, shaping a bent ring under her eyes, and continues to stretch under her ears. Her coat is a bit longer and thicker than average for a Great Dane, with some barely-noticeable feathering on the backs of her legs. Head: Charlye has a large snout with jowls that slightly droop, and big ears that stand upright like a German Shepherd's. Eyes: Charlye’s eyes are almond-shaped and a light amber, with a small fleck of blue in her right eye. Scars: Her muzzle is covered in many small scars as though she were in a dispute with a cat. She also has a nick in her left ear. She also has a large scar on her left flank. Accessories: None Pictures: None
Speed: Above average. Stamina: Average. Strength: Below average. Fighting: Low. Strengths: Charlye is an exceptional runner thanks to her light build and long legs. She has little trouble hunting small animals such as rabbits and squirrels. She is also loyal and very kind when one gets to know her. As long as her life or welfare isn't threatened, she's a good friend. Weaknesses: Charlye may be fast, but she can also be clumsy, especially when she's running on uneven ground. Running in the forest is a nightmare for her. She is shy and timid, and will often avoid others. She also has a very negative attitude, and can be a total coward at times.
Personality: Charlye is shy and timid, and tends to avoid humans and other dogs. She prefers to be alone, and doesn’t work well with others. She has made very few friends in her life, mostly because she hardly talks to anyone. She is usually passive, but can be aggressive if she is defending something that is hers, such as food or shelter. This aggression is sort of redundant, though, as she usually submits to fights anyway and slinks off to find something else to eat or sleep in.
Charlye turns out to be very loyal and kind once you get to know her, even though she is bit morbid and depressing. She gives up easily, and is very pessimistic, but that doesn’t make her a bad dog. She often puts others before herself, but in life or death situations she decides to be selfish and run away like the coward she is. Charlye’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, but she's intelligent enough to know what can kill her (despite her frequent brainfarts). Fears: Living things she can't hunt and eat, humans, thunder (or any loud noises), death, danger and blood.
Family: Mother – German Shepherd/Great Dane mix, deceased Father – Great Dane, alive (whereabouts unknown) Brother1 - Great Dane/German Shepherd, alive (whereabouts unknown) Sister - Great Dane/German Shepherd, alive (whereabouts unknown) Brother2 - Great Dane/German Shepherd, deceased History: Charlye was born five years after the outbreak to a German Shepherd/Great Dane mix. Her father (a purebred Great Dane) was taken away to become a fighting dog before she was born, so she never knew him. She also had two brothers and a sister. Unfortunately, her final sibling (brother2) was too weak and small to survive. Charlye was often bullied by her other siblings as she was the second-last pup to be born.
Charlye always spent a lot of her time exploring and scavenging. She got into a nasty scrap with a cat, which accounts for the scars on her muzzle. After she had seen two years, she decided to leave her family and face the world alone. It wasn't long until she got into a fight with another dog. It was then that she received the nick in her ear and the scar on her flank. The brawl drained a lot of her strength, and she was forced to pick at scraps left by other dogs.
Once Charlye's wounds healed, she was back on her feet and trotting through the streets of the city. She learned that other dogs were to be avoided, so she has lived most of her life on her own. The few friends she did make have fallen out of contact with her. Charlye now walks alone.
