Name: Abi
Alias: N/A
Gender: Female.
Age: 3 years
Birthdate: 21st of May 2128
Species: Dog.
Breed: Border Collie x Siberian Husky
Purebred: No.
Pack: Loner.
Height: 21 Inches
Weight: 35 lbs
Build: Abi would be on the small side compared to both her mother and father, but this might be due to another breed somewhere in the lineage as pedigrees are no longer kept there is no way to be sure. She is pretty firmly built, but relies more on her speed and stamina that her strength. Her tail is low set like that of the border collie and it is fluffy and slightly paintbrush shaped. Her head is on the husky side but has the kind eyes and the ears of a border collie.
Coat: Abi's coat is long, and she tries to keep it in good shape but as life is not exactly easy it is not as shiny as it could be, but it is well kept compared to what it could be at the worst. It soft to tough, aside from matted areas around the legs from running through bushes. She is pale brown with a dark sable running through her coat. She has warm cream markings on her faces and chest, going down her stomach, on her legs and paws and the tip of her tail.
Head: Her head is sturdy, with a long slender muzzle. Her eyes are kind and warm. Her ears perk upwards delicately and are well feathered with brown and cream fur. Her nose is pale liver and her tongue is a pale pink.
Eyes: Her eyes are large and round. They are chocolate brown with flecks of amber.
Scars: Abi does not have any noticeable scars, any she does have are hidden by her thick fur.
Accessories: She wears a thin silver chain with a rose quartz love heart at the end. It was passed down from her mother who had gotten it from her former owners.
Pictures: Abi
Speed: High.
Stamina: Above average.
Strength: Low.
Fighting: Average.
Strengths: Abi is quite fast, and she's witty and good at finding other animal's mental and physical weaknesses. She is slim built so she can fit into tight spaces relatively easily, depending on the case of course. Abi is extremely loyal and will protect her friends with her life.
Weaknesses: Abi may be fast, but because of it she lacks in strength. She is stubborn and finds it hard to trust other animals. She often pushes them away and makes enemies quickly. She has a short temper and is easily angered.
Personality: Abi is highly strung and is on her feet most of the time. She needs to be doing something otherwise she will pace around incessantly. She feels like sitting down and resting is a waste of time when she could be finding food, water or anything else that could be useful.
Abi is loner simply because she refuses to trust other and can't stand taking orders from other animals. She is extremely stubborn and has a narrow minded view of things. To her if it's not the way she wants it it's a waste of time.
As I've mentioned before Abi is extremely easily angered and will jump into fights without considering her opponents strength or wit. She takes offense at things easily and is overly-proud.
Abi does however make friends, even if they are far and few between. She is sensitive and hates to be alone no matter how much she pushes her friends away. However, she is very emotionally vulnerable and does not want anyone to find this out. She sees it as a weakness and is ashamed of it.
Fears: Abi's main fear is abandonment, or losing people she's close to which is why she doesn't get close to many.
Family: Her mother, Sara and her father Brandy both died in the first two years of her life. Her only living relations that she knows of are her sister Aria (LINK) and her half-brother Lupis (LINK), both of which she does not get along with, to say the least.
History: Abi's mother, Sara was a dog kept by humans that had survived the virus. She was used to warn the humans of oncoming danger. Brandy, on the other hand, was a stray dog. They met when Sara was patrolling for danger. Brandy had already had another litter, which was where her half brother Lupis came from, but how the two met is a different story which I'll tell later. Anyway, Sara gave birth to two daughters, Abi and Aria. Sara gave both daughters a chain with a precious stone on the end of it that she stole from the humans. Sara was killed when the humans ran out of food, they turned on the dog that had helped them for years. It had happened when Sara had been looking for Abi. Abi had been playing hide and seek with her sister and then was nowhere to be found. Brandy went after the humans in a fit of vengeance and was killed in the same way. Aria blamed Abi for the death of their parents and the left Abi alone, telling her that someday she would regret it.
Abi wandered alone for a couple days, but she would not have survived long if it hadn't been for a female German Shepherd named Mia. Mia had two older pups, Lupis and Cana. Cana died shortly after though, she drowned in a stream when the four were getting a drink of water. From the very start Lupis and Abi did not get along. Their personalities clashed and would for the next couple of years. On occasion when their paths meet they have another one of their battles but neither ever wins.
Played by: Abi
Role Play Sample: Tara saw the cliffs as she approached the edge of the rocks, but she had smelt the water from much further off and the stench of gulls was enough to draw her here. She didn't have much taste for birds, but her thoughts had brought her here so she would have to make do. She trotted to the edge of the cliffs and looked into the depths of the water crashing against the jagged rocks in an uneven melody chorused by the cries of birds. The white tipped waves seemed cool and refreshing, but to even try to get down there was suicidal. Tara shook her head to clear her thoughts and continued along the edge of the cliff, keeping a firm footing so as not to slip and fall to her death.
After a couple hours had passed and Tara had gotten nowhere she started to get impatient. She briskly knocked a pebble down into the depths. She gave a loud snarl as if trying to vocalize her frustration. She didn't even know what she was looking for, yet she expected to find it. She eventually collapsed to the ground and let a long sigh escaped her clenched teeth. She let her facial muscles relax as a cooling breeze rustled her chestnut brown fur.
It was nearly nightfall. Tara sat up and looked out at the
setting sun, drowning the sky in pinks and reds. She sighed. She wanted to leap into the sun, to let her worries escape her, but there was something keeping her tied to life, something she hadn't done yet. The problem was, she didn't even know what that was.
With that, Tara turned to find shelter. She would look for food in the morning. She came across a split in the rocks and crawled inside. It was cramped, but warm and dry nonetheless. She slept lightly, awoken by any and every sound.
